Flavoured teas, here at Gower Tea we are interested in promoting new teas from all over the World, but we’ve noticed in our travels the taste for Flavoured Tea.
Recently we attended a trade show specifically aimed at the Tea Industry and we were amazed and surprised to discover how many flavoured teas there are out there. Sooooooo we thought we’d try some of these flavoured teas and came across three very interesting varieties.
One flavoured tea that we’ve been serving our customers at Chai Deli in Mumbles, South Wales, is the Liquorice flavoured tea. We’re going to add some pictures for you to look at, at the bottom of the blog. It’s so popular with one of our customers that she buys a kilo at a time, she just wipes us out. Now if that isn’t an endorsement for a flavoured tea nothing is. It’s not at all subtle and gives a great kick of Liquorice taste.
Another one that came to our notice is Orange tea a green tea based flavoured tea, in fact as we speak I’m sipping a cup of it now. It had a little bitter after note so I’ve added just a tiny drop of vanilla syrup and it’s lifted it giving a gorgeous back note counteracting
Now thirdly Belgium Chocolate black tea, an interesting take on an old theme. It’s subtle and the black tea is mixed with cocoa shells and hazelnut giving this flavoured tea it’s own special taste.
Drop us a line we’d be very interested on your thoughts. Would you like us to add them to our new site?
